Jan 19 A kind note from Elder and Sister Horner

(Elder and Sister Horner are a Senior Couple serving a mission in Kenya.  They are in the area that Rushton is in.)

Dear Susan,

This letter is long overdue as we have intended to write to you for some time.  We want you to know how much we have appreciated your wonderful missionary son here in Kisumu, Kenya!  We will always smile and call  Elder Hiltbrand, “Our Trainer.”  We are SOO thankful for the help, insights and guidance he has given us.   “Our Elders” as we call them came over one evening and fixed Ugali and Suku for us.  Thankfully they educated us how to use ugali as a spoon.  We would have been sooo in trouble shortly thereafter if they hadn’t taught us how to eat without utensils.   This is just one of many situations where we have been blessed through his service. We feel very blessed to have had him here for the entire time we have been serving our mission.  There is no question, he is certainly a dedicated servant of the Lord!  We have literally watched him grow in so many ways!    When he returns home you will see so much growth in him.  Elder Hiltbrand has such a promising future ahead of him!!!   Thanks for raising such a wonderful son!!!

Sending our Love and Appreciation,
Elder and Sister Horner
